DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION FOR A CAMP OR CLINIC IN ADVANCE?
Yes, this allows us to tailor the camp or clinic to your riding level and interest.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN BIKE?
No, we have partnered with a local mountain bike shop and you can reserve a full-suspension bike with helmet during your registration process.

WHAT TYPE OF BIKE DO I NEED?
Full-suspension bikes are best for mountain biking lessons. We have dirt jump bikes for guests to test on the BMX course and pump tracks. If you have your own dirt jump bike, feel free to bring it.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A HELMET?
No helmet, no riding. It’s that simple.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BIKE RANCH CAMP OR CLINIC?
That would be a bummer!

Here is our cancellation policy just in case something comes up:

  • 3-Day Camp cancellations prior to 60 days before your scheduled date, a $200 handling fee per person is retained, and the remainder of your registration fee is refunded; 1-Day Camp cancellations prior to 60 days before your clinic will be charged a $50 cancellation fee and the balance refunded.
  • Camp and Clinic cancellations 60 to 31 days before your scheduled date, 50% of your registration fee will be refunded.
  • There are no refunds for Camp and Clinic cancellations 30 days or less before your scheduled date.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any camp. Full refunds will be made in these instances. We are not responsible for non-refundable airfare.

HOW DO I GET TO BIKE RANCH?
You can drive; book a shuttle or air taxi service to our lodge. For more details on shuttle and air service please contact us. Download a map to Bike Ranch.

DO I NEED TO BE FIT?
We cater to a variety of skill levels, but we do encourage you to put in some saddle time prior to your camp date.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BIKE NEEDS REPAIRS?
You should come to Bike Ranch with a recently tuned bike. However, Ranch Hands are trained to provide typical trailside repairs. If you do encounter a significant problem with your bike we will do our best to coordinate a suitable replacement.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Lessons and rides are only cancelled in extreme conditions where there is an unacceptable risk to participants and Ranch Hands. Otherwise, we saddle-up and ride—rain or shine! If a lesson or ride is cancelled due to weather, make-up dates will be arranged with participants.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PACK?
We provided a Pack List to help your prepare for your visit to Bike Ranch.

DO I HAVE TO SHARE A ROOM?
No, you may upgrade to a single occupancy room during your reservation process. Upgrade cost depends on the number of days you are staying at the lodge. Please contact us to reserve a private room.

HOW DO I CONTACT MY FAMILY/FRIENDS?
If it is an emergency we have a Satellite Phone. For non-emergencies, we do have free WiFi to email or Skype friends and family during your stay. Travel light and use our lodge computer.
